We’ll start with a free initial consultation in which we will develop a professional, affordable plan specifically for your small business or nonprofit organization to get us started on the right path.
What you can expect in a custom web design project
- We’ll start by getting to know you and assessing your needs. What is your organization? What do you do? What would you like to do? What are your central values, your ideas, your mission? Who is your target market? What overall “look and feel” do you wish to project?
- Next, we’ll examine your marketing and promotional materials, including an exisiting web site if you have one. We’ll learn more about your organization and what image you’re presenting to the public. We’ll record what your likes and dislikes are with these materials to help us plan your new site. Your web site should seamlessly integrate with your other marketing materials so that you appear as a polished, professional organization.
- We’ll discuss what your site should look like as well as how the information should be structured and accessed. Our goals will be focused always on keeping the site easy for the public to use, looking inviting and sophisticated, and remaining accessible to your target market. You’ll reap the benefits!
- You supply the text, logo, graphics, and any other content for your web site.
- Once we have a basic design template completed, we’ll ask you to examine it. We will make changes to the look of the design based on your desires.
- Then, after the design is completed, we’ll enter all the text, graphics, and content you’ve supplied. We’ll test the site to make sure that it is functional and accessible.
- We’ll ask you to examine the site again to make sure that it delights you. We’ll make the changes that you request.
- When the site is done, we’ll install it on your hosting server for you.
- We’ll then go over how to use the site and how to keep it fresh and updated.
- Then, the site is yours and open to the public!
